Now that we’re starting to get into the swing of the holiday gift giving season, I’ve themed this month’s Good sh*t product round up to highly gift-able items. I’d be remiss if I didn’t recommend a membership to my on demand pilates studio as the best gift you could give yourself or anyone else (I also do gift cards for virtual private training) first but here are some other favorite gift ideas!
Good sh*t gift guide
I’ve coveted this Negative Underwear Whipped lounge henley and track pant for a few years now. I have heard nothing but fantastic things about the quality of their stuff.
Boy Smells makes my favorite candles. I got the Kush candle as a housewarming gift a few years ago, which is a scent I never would’ve chosen for myself because my anxiety has never once let me enjoy the mary j, but I now can’t live without this candle. Drooling over how chic this room spray version would look in a powder room. Poo-pourri could never!!
These glass servers from Zara have been on my mind since I last hate scrolled the Zara site. Such a good hostess gift (IF you know their interior design taste DEEPLY well…otherwise just bring good wine 🫠!)
I’m having myself a clog girl autumn after being gifted these BRYR Studio Chonk clogs in oxblood (and I kinda want the all black too). They’re so comfy, are handmade in SF by a small LGBTQ+ business, and are sleeker than my equally beloved Danskos, which are classic but don’t make me feel quite as *cool girl* as the chonks. Also, excellent product name.
This is comically unpractical gift (which obviously makes it the best kind of present) but, if you are gifting a fashion girlie dog maman, I cannot fathom topping this Staud Poop Bag Holder. If it makes you feel better, the cost per “wear” is incredible.
This Maude massage candle works double duty as it smells amazing, and also burns down into a sensual massage oil, ooh la la!
I may be biased as this designer is my cousin, but if you fancy hand made plant dyed cottage core linen vibes and supporting female artists, you can’t go wrong with anything from Olive Blue Paris, but particularly this Quilted Gilet. (psst, even if you’re not in the market for clothing, following creators’ social media accounts and supporting them with your engagement means more to them than you know!)
If you have a Swiftie in your life, she will lose her ever loving mind (in a good way) if you gift her this “All Too Well” coded keychain from Betches.
I collect conversation decks like it’s a full time job. Sue, me, I’m a cancer! Miss me with Catan and tell me your deepest darkest secrets over a glass of pinot noir, I’m begging you!! I just added the Wilde House Paper Cultivating Conversations deck and the Touchy Feely Game deck to my collection, but Esther Perel’s Where Should We Begin deck is a classic too. If you’re not into decks (weird, but ok) I also love the Paired App!
Speaking of Zara, if your giftee is tired of fast fashion sweaters getting destroyed after one wash, may I present to you the always gorgeous Baba sweaters made in Barcelona, which are pricy, but are made to last throughout trends and wear. Head’s up, these itch (at first, until they’ve been worn a few times) so throw in a Uniqlo Heat Tech turtleneck or Intimissimi long sleeve in with this gift.

No recommending reading this month as I’ve been hard at work chipping away at my 2023 book list, but stay tuned for reviews of everything I read this year coming soon!
