In my mind, I am one of those domestic goddesses who doesn’t use measurements and still results in an iconic dish. Alas, to my French MIL’s chagrin, that will never be me. I might be able to “feel” how many reps you need to get to burnout, but I have no idea how to “feel” how much butter to use. This former dancer loves to follow rules and recipes and the idea of “winging it” in the kitchen not only gives me anxiety… it results in an inedible mess.
Learning to cook (by following recipes EXACTLY) has definitely played a role in healing my relationship with food, though, and for that reason I wanted to make sharing really delectable recipes here part of the Well Hell offering…but I also knew I couldn’t throw you to the wolves with my kitchen mishaps I may still share the occasional family recipe here and there, but for the most part…you’ll be hearing from Helen Phelan Studio On Demand Pilates member and chef, Julia Clancy!
